Inbox (Gmail replies)

What it is

Inbox connects one Gmail account so your AI Twin can draft replies, or optionally send them, on threads you label. It is a Pro feature. The Twin writes as you, from your Gmail, using your approved knowledge.

This is not email ingest. Ingest forwards mail into Knowledge. Inbox replies to people who emailed you.

What it’s for

A client or partner emails you. You apply an AI Twin label in Gmail. The Twin drafts a reply from your knowledge. You send it, or you turn on auto-send for high-confidence answers only.

How to use it

1. Confirm you are on Pro (https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/subscription). Other plans see Inbox and an Upgrade to Pro prompt.
2. Open Grow → Inbox (https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/inbox) and connect Gmail.
3. In Gmail, create a label (for example AI Twin) and a filter that applies it to the threads you want handled.
4. Choose that label in the console. Unlabeled mail is ignored.
5. Keep Draft only until you trust the drafts. Auto-send uses the confidence threshold on Profile.
6. Use Pause to stop polling without disconnecting.

Tips / pitfalls

• Revoking Gmail access in Google, or Disconnect in the console, stops all sending.
• Auto-send stays off until you turn it on. Low-confidence answers always stay drafts.
• Chat history of those threads is not imported into Knowledge unless you later forward or upload.
• Gmail only. Outlook and generic IMAP are not supported.
• This is not a campaign or newsletter tool.
