Which documents you can upload to your AI Twin, how they are processed, and how to keep your knowledge accurate and current.
What it is
File upload into Knowledge: drag-and-drop or browse so PDFs, Word docs, markdown, and similar formats are processed into searchable chunks for your Twin.
What it’s for
Longer material than Quick Add, bios, FAQs, talk notes, decks as PDF, policy pages. When you need the Twin to answer from a real document instead of a one-liner.
How to use it
- Open Knowledge (https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/knowledge).
- Drag and drop files or use browse. Supported types include
.txt,.md,.html,.pdf,.docx,.rtf,.odt,.epub. - Wait for processing (large uploads may take a few minutes).
- Open Explore to check titles and chunks; fix or remove passages that confuse answers.
- Ask the public Twin (
https://hi.speak-to.ai/your-name) a question that should hit the new doc.
Tips / pitfalls
- Clear headings and short sections retrieve better than walls of text.
- Mark sensitive files private before you share the Twin widely, see Sharing and Privacy.
- Prefer one focused FAQ over many near-duplicate exports.
- If answers cite the wrong chunk, edit or delete in Explore rather than re-uploading blindly.
