Sharing and Privacy
Decide what is public and what stays private in your AI Twin, invite specific people, and protect material with a password.
What it is
Controls for who can open your Twin, which documents appear in answers, and how published pieces are shared. Public Twin chat is the default; private knowledge and password gate deeper material; Promote adds Anyone with link vs public library for pieces. Audience email here means access and leads, the Twin does not blast your list.
What it’s for
Share a calling-card Twin widely, publish a talk as a piece when you want a clean share URL, then unlock partner or investor material only for people you invite. Typical pattern: mark a deck private, invite a partner by email, keep the rest of the Twin public, or password-gate the whole Twin for a closed workshop.
Three sharing ideas (do not mix them up)

Unlisted pieces stay off your public library and podcast feed, and their source knowledge stays out of general public Twin chat. Visitors who have the URL can still open the page and ask about that piece.
How to use it
- Share the public Twin URL anytime:
https://hi.speak-to.ai/your-slug. - To share a talk or article as a page: open Promote (https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/promote), see Promote.
- For whole-Twin lock: Profile (https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/home) → enable password so chat opens only with the code.
- For document-level privacy: mark docs or sections private in Knowledge, then invite people by email from Profile (optional private-knowledge access).
- Visitors verify email in chat (and meet your allowlist if configured) before private passages are used.
- Optional: enable Show contact me so interested people leave an email, review under Insights → Leads. Details: Contact me & leads.
Tips / pitfalls
- Private knowledge is “privately shared,” not a newsletter tool.
- Password protects the Twin surface; private docs protect specific passages; unlisted Promote is for early share URLs, use the right tool for the job.
- Test invites and password in a private window as a visitor, not while logged into the console.
- Do not put secrets in public docs and rely on obscurity.
