AI Twin Owners Guide
Knowledge Management
How to build and maintain the knowledge your AI Twin answers from: uploads, Quick Add, website import, media and organizing.
What it is
Knowledge is the material your AI Twin draws on when it answers. You manage it in the owner console at https://base.hi.speak-to.ai; visitors only see what you allow on your public Twin at https://hi.speak-to.ai/your-name.
What it’s for
So your Twin can speak for you when you are not in the room, a partner asks a factual question after a meeting, a reader wants the short version of a guide you wrote, or a lead needs your booking link. The Twin stays grounded in your uploads, not the open web.
How to use it
Open Knowledge (https://base.hi.speak-to.ai/knowledge), then pick the path that matches the job:
| Job | Page |
|---|---|
| Fix a small gap (middle name, one FAQ line, a Calendly URL) | Quick Add |
| Bring in a PDF, DOCX, or long write-up | Upload documents |
| Mirror a public article or guide page | Website import |
| Speak a draft, polish, then save | Talk to add knowledge |
| Show images, decks, or video in answers | Media library |
| Forward email into a review queue | Email ingest |
| Review and tidy the library (keep / discard drafts) | Organize knowledge |
After anything lands, skim Explore / Reflect, mark sensitive docs private if needed, then ask the public Twin a real question in a private window.
Tips / pitfalls
- Start narrow: one strong FAQ or bio beats a dump of unsorted files.
- Quick Add is for small gaps, not for pasting an entire whitepaper.
- Website import works best on public, indexable article pages; password walls fail.
- Visitor speak-to-chat on the public Twin is not live yet; voice knowledge is an owner flow.
- Updates take effect without retraining, edit or add, then re-test.
