How citations and refusals work

Two behaviours carry most of the trust in a professional Twin. This is what happens behind each of them.

When a visitor asks a question, the Twin looks only inside the approved library. If it finds material that answers the question, it answers and shows the source, with the section and the date it was last updated.

When it asks instead of answering

If two approved sources describe different situations, the Twin asks which one applies. A clarifying question is more useful than a confident average of two answers.

When it declines

Questions outside the defined scope receive a plain refusal and a route back to the owner. Nothing is invented to fill the gap, and the visitor is never left guessing whether the answer was grounded.
